On Jul. 20, PCT2023 Personal Care Technology Convention was successfully concluded at Kerry Hotels.

Wu Jinhao, General Manager of Beijing EWISH Testing Technology Co., Ltd., served as the opening host who thanked the guests attending the meeting, and then made a certain introduction to the development of the company at the present stage and the future direction. Professor Zhao Hua, Director of Cosmetics Department, Beijing Technology and Business University, shared the relevant content of the frontier development trend of cosmetic efficacy evaluation. Professor Zhao Hua said that the efficacy was the basic attribute of cosmetics, and the classified and hierarchical management should be conducted for cosmetic efficacy claims. All walks of life competed to develop group standards and efficacy methods now, and the vicious competition among third-party inspection institutions and rat race were the severe challenges faced by cosmetic efficacy evaluation. To solve these problems couldn't be separated from the supervision of government departments and the strengthening of self-discipline consciousness of the industry.
Dr. Wang Junjie, Chief Engineer of Medical Products Division of Beijing Transcend Vivoscope Biotechnology Co., Ltd., introduced the technical principle, function and application of two-photon microscope based on the topic-Study and Application of Two-photon Skin Cell Microscopic Imaging System in Dermatology.
Professor Tan Yimei, Executive Deputy Director of Shanghai Skin Disease Hospital Skin and Cosmetics Laboratory, mentioned in her speech on the Development of Clinical Research Technology for Skin Aging that the characteristics of skin aging were changed in three aspects (biochemical, physical and structural morphological properties), leading to impaired biological function and inducing a variety of diseases. The skin aging is divided into endogenous aging and exogenous aging, which pertains to collagen density and glycosaminoglycan content.
Liu Qi, Chief Technical Engineer of Beijing EWISH Testing Technology Co., Ltd., shared the New Strategy for the Evaluation of Cosmetic Efficacy and said that the company had introduced multiple sets of advanced visualization imaging equipment which was different from the basic conventional testing equipment in the current market. At present, EWISH can provide better visual imaging schemes for enterprise products. At the same time, the company has a special laboratory which is capable of simulating different environments for simulating a variety of life scenarios.
