From May 29 to May 31, the 2024 Health & Beauty Industry high quality Development Conference sponsored by Zhejiang Health Products & Cosmetics Industry Association was successfully held at DoubleTree by Hilton Hangzhou East.
To fully demonstrate the development achievements of the whole industry chain of health and beauty and promote the deep integration and innovative development of the upstream and downstream of the industry chain, the conference focused on the relevant hotspots and trends in the upstream and downstream of the industry chain and subdivisions. The industrial resources of Zhejiang Province and even the Yangtze River Delta region were fully tapped and a cooperation and exchange platform was built for industrial collaborative innovation, scientific and technological exchange, resource precision link and achievement display.
During the corresponding period, a number of forum meetings in relation to such topics as policies and regulations, scientific and technological innovation, product development and green supply chain were held to promote the due role of the health and beauty industry, guide and encourage health and beauty enterprises to adhere to the quality core, attach importance to brand cultivation and provide more choices and communication directions for the guests.
Splendid moment of the conference
EWISH brought new strategies for the evaluation of cosmetic efficacy (such as hyperspectral quantization analysis technique, two-photon imaging technology and ecological environment simulation) to the visitors at the exhibition. The focus was visualizing the results of the efficacy evaluation and how to simulate the actual application scenario.
The hyperspectral imaging technology (HSI) refers to the use of spectrometers for continuously scanning the spectral lines (tens or hundreds) of imaging objects in the spectral range of ultraviolet (UV), visible light (VIS), infrared, and even mid-infrared bands, collecting the spectral information at each pixel and generating three-dimensional data sets of spatial and spectral information. When the tissue is examined with HSI, the light can penetrate a certain thickness of biological tissue. Due to the heterogeneity of the structure of biological tissues, light is scattered in all directions and the hemoglobin, pigment and water absorb different wavelengths of light, thus the reflectance spectra of different tissues or organs depend on their own biochemical and histological characteristics, and on this basis, the quantitative detection of skin components can be realized. At present, four indexes (skin pigment composition, moisture content, collagen and skin thickness) can be quantitatively analyzed.
